In its short history, the College of Public Speaking has contributed £3000 to the Association of Speakers Clubs as well as donating £430 for the contestants' prizes at the ASC National Conference in Hammersmith, London in April 2007. It has also helped to secure £20,000 sponsorship from BT for running the BT effective speech workshops for the BT talent pool. This is an unprecedented level of sponsorship in the history of the Association of Speakers Clubs and a necessary and vital part of its sustainability.
The College also has strong links with the local community having run free workshops at Bromley Field Study Centre and Gordon House, a residential home for people with a gambling addiction.
